Two interpretive nodes containing three panels each that explain the wildfire that ravaged the Stony Swamp area in 2012. The first node describes the conditions that conspired to ignite the fire and how it was finally extinguished; the other explains how the forest is regenerating after the fire and points out the changes to watch for in the future. The two sets of panels were designed to have a common aesthetic but contrasting colour palettes appropriate to each theme.
